When you use KindHeadsUp, we collect only what's necessary to deliver your notification. This includes the recipient's first name and phone number (provided by you), your payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details), and basic usage data such as your IP address and browser type for security and fraud prevention purposes.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, or any information that would identify you as the sender of a notification. We do not create user accounts. We do not track you across other websites. We do not sell your data to third parties — ever.
How we use your information
Recipient information is used solely to deliver the notification you requested. It is not stored after delivery is complete. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and subject to their privacy policy. Usage data is used only to maintain the security and integrity of our platform.
Anonymity guarantee
Your identity as the sender is never disclosed to the recipient, stored in our systems in a way that links you to a specific notification, or shared with any third party. Our platform is designed from the ground up to protect sender anonymity.
Data retention
Recipient phone numbers and notification details are deleted from our systems within 24 hours of delivery. Payment records are retained as required by law and Stripe's terms of service. We do not maintain long-term records of who sent notifications to whom.
Third-party services
We use Stripe for payment processing and Twilio for message and call delivery. Both are industry-leading providers with strong privacy and security practices. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
Your rights
You have the right to request deletion of any data we hold about you. Because we collect minimal information and do not link senders to notifications, there is typically very little data to delete. To make a request, contact us at [email protected].
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
